Philly Esports is working with Montgomery County Community College to host a Super Smash Brothers Ultimate tournament for High School students. This event will be in-person at the Blue Bell Campus and will be following Covid-19 guidelines. The Pennsylvania Scholastic Esports League (PSEL) will be sponsoring this event! They are powered by the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) and are currently providing scholastic esports opportunities to high school students in more than 100 esports clubs across Pennsylvania. Philly Esports will be partnering with Kidas for the Montgomery County Community College High School Super Smash Brothers Ultimate tournament this upcoming year. We at Philly Esports value keeping our community a safe space for all competitive gamers to come together and compete. However, especially within recent years, there hasn’t been a dedicated way to moderate younger gamers. Kidas provides a tool to help identify and address any dangerous situations that children may encounter while interacting with others in video games. We at Philly Esports are pleased to announce the return of our after-school educational program for high school students with the help of LULAC & TAP Esports Center. This program utilizes Esports as the main conductor for improving teamwork, communication and to inspire & introduce students to the many opportunities within the professional circuit.
