[Exciting News]

Philly Esports is working with Montgomery County Community College to host a Super Smash Brothers Ultimate tournament for High School students. This event will be in-person at the Blue Bell Campus and will be following Covid-19 guidelines.

The Pennsylvania Scholastic Esports League (PSEL) will be sponsoring this event! They are powered by the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) and are currently providing scholastic esports opportunities to high school students in more than 100 esports clubs across Pennsylvania.

PSEL is excited to be partnering with Philly Esports and MCCC to grow the esports ecosystem in Pennsylvania and connect students to college and career opportunities.
Our mission is to facilitate the dreams of all aspiring esports professionals, so we are incredibly honored and excited to work alongside PSEL to provide even more opportunities.

Kammas Kersch, STEM Services Coordinator at CCIU says, “When we at PSEL first connected with Philly Esports, we knew we had found an organization aligned with our own mission. We are excited to collaborate on our first event together to bring esports opportunities to students in Pennsylvania and look forward to more to come!”

“We are proud to provide more esports opportunities to students in and around Pennsylvania. PSEL is a growing leader in the High School esports scene and we cannot think of a better organization to partner with to host this event. We plan to continue working with PSEL to provide more events and opportunities in the future for Pennsylvania students.” Adam Nelson, CEO of Philly Esports adds.

Through this event, we hope to give students a memorable experience by providing a safe space for competition and educating them on collegiate opportunities.
