Welcome to the Philly Esports $5k Super Smash Bros. Holiday Bash Tournament
EVENT INFORMATION
– Dates: December 11th
– Start Time: December 11th: 12pm EST
– Where: Online on smash.gg (*US Citizens Only)
– Cost To Enter: FREE
DISCORD
– All players must join the discord for the tournament. Join the Discord here: https://discord.gg/Jh7Vttu3Na
– Once you are a member of the discord server, head to the role-select channel and react to the message to give yourself the $5k Super Smash Bros. Holiday Bash Tournament role. This will unlock the necessary text channels for you to view and interact with for the event.
HOW TO JOIN THE TOURNAMENT
– Players register here on our website.
– Once your registration is confirmed, you will be sent an email confirming that your smash.gg account has been added to the tournament.
– On the day of the tournament, December 11th, ALL PLAYERS MUST CHECK IN TO SECURE THEIR SPOTS IN THE BRACKET.
– Check ins will be held from 10am-11am EST on the smash.gg Tournament Page on December 11th. If you have any troubles checking in or can’t make the check in time, but are still competing in the tournament, contact an admin on Discord, and we can check your team in for you.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
– Double Elimination
– Upper Bracket: Best of 3
– Lower Bracket: Best of 3
– Lower Bracket Finals: Best of 5
– Upper Bracket Finals: Best of 5
– Grand Finals: Best of 5

DAY OF EVENT SCHEDULE – (All times are in Eastern Standard)
10:00 am- Check-ins inside smash.gg will begin– only the team captain will need to check-in
11:00 am – Check-ins are closed
11:30 am- Tournament Official and all team captains will need to be Discord voice channel to go over detail for the tournament
11:45 am – Tournament Brackets will be published– GAMES WILL NOT BE PLAYED UNTIL NOON
12:00 pm – Tournament will start
