[7/12/21] We at Philly Esports decided to input several changes to the Summer Series. First, we will be combining the Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War series into one event on August 14th with the prize pool being updated to $1,500. Second, the Rocket League series will be merged with our other Rocket League event – The $10K Legends Tournament. Lastly, we’re pushing the Valorant event dates to September 25th (Series 1), October 2nd (Series 2) & October 9th (Championships) while also upgrading the prize pool to $2,500.
The updated schedule for the Summer Series is as follows:
- Call of Duty – ONE Tournament: August 14th
- Rocket League Event combined with $10K Legend Series
- Valorant – Series 1: September 25th
- Valorant – Series 2: October 2nd
- Valorant – Championship: October 9th
Due to various feedback and reflection, we chose to implement these changes to avoid clashing dates with the pro-scene and to allow more time for event entry. Make sure to keep an eye on our social media to stay updated on the latest news, changes and events.
